Ellen Woods Abrams

Savannah- Ellen Woods Abrams, 88, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her home under the care of Islands Hospice.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. She spent her life as a homemaker and raising her children and the many others that referred to her as "Nanny". She is the oldest and last of five living generations.
Survivors include her three daughters, Elaine J. Reiser, Linda J. Hubbard, Delores J. Myers; three grandsons, Kenny, James, Melvin; five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, all of Savannah, and a brother, Clarence J. Woods of Brooklet.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Bonaventure Cemetery and the family has requested that all in attendance dress casually.
